New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy
JOB TASK ANALYSIS PROJECT

Thank you for logging on to complete this important questionnaire and for your daily efforts to keep the families of New Mexico safe. Being a New Mexico law enforcement officer is a challenging endeavor, and your work is recognized and appreciated.

To be sure that law enforcement officer entry-level training is current, effective, legally defensible, and practical, a formal Job Task Analysis is required. As part of our continuing commitment to the training of New Mexico law enforcement personnel, the responses you provide will help us develop new and/or validate current basic training and ensure that the Academy’s basic and in-service programs prepare new and serving law enforcement officers to perform their duties and meet the expectations of the citizens of New Mexico.

The entire questionnaire should take 1-2 hours to complete. For your convenience, you can enter and exit the site as needed to allow you to perform your duties around completing the survey. Your last completed page will be saved so you can pick up where you left off each time.

You may begin by clicking the “Continue” button below. Please take the time to answer candidly and completely, as your input and that of several hundred other officers, supervisors, managers, and executives will play a direct role in developing the requirements for basic and advanced training programs at the NMLEA for years to come.

Thank you.
